Western Red Cedar is an ideal material for cladding due to it’s natural resistance to decay and insect attack.
It’s a lightweight material and left untreated will ‘Silver’ overtime – turning beautiful shades of grey.
Western Red Cedar comes in two main grades which are the more popular grade ‘No 2 Clear 85%, allowing up to 15% No.4’ which will come with knots and other imperfections that give the boards that little extra character. This is the grade sold on this page.

Highly attractive with light reddish-brown to dark brown tones with few knots and stunning grain patterns. Apply a UV protection oil to maintain and enhance the colour. Alternatively if left untreated it will turn silver-grey when exposed to rain and sunlight.
Cedar also has great thermal properties.

We don’t offer cladding installation at this time. If you are in the local area we may be able to recommend a local business.
We supply a range of Osmo products for cladding staining and preservation including an anti-greying oil.

Firstly you can talk to an advisor, visit our showroom and order a free sample to make sure you order correctly. However, in this case you do want to return the product then please read below.
If there is a manufacturing fault please contact us to resolve this free of charge if the fault is deemed to be a manufacturing fault.
For left over materials such as a threshold, extra planks or packs of flooring we can’t accept returns.
We can’t accept returns for bespoke products such as stained thresholds or machined to order floors.

‘Kerbside’ means that your items will be delivered to the nearest hardstanding adjacent to or on your property.
Unfortunately drivers cannot unload the items off the pallet due to health and safety regulations and it is the customers responsibility to do this. Most of our customers either arrange for us to help them unload the items for a fee, ask their tradesperson to help, arrange help from a friend or family member or unload it themselves.
