Western Red Cedar is an ideal material for cladding due to it’s natural resistance to decay and insect attack.

It’s a lightweight material and left untreated will ‘Silver’ overtime – turning beautiful shades of grey.

Western Red Cedar comes in two main grades which are the more popular grade ‘No 2 Clear 85%, allowing up to 15% No.4’ which will come with knots and other imperfections that give the boards that little extra character. This is the grade sold on this page.

The higher-grade is ‘No.2 Clear only’ – which has next to no knots for a clean and clear effect. Please fill out the enquiry form for a quotation on this. Sustainable PEFC available, please ask us for details.
